5' Nothing Productions was conceived of the first time Makenna and RK met each other while documenting a SKEWL outdoor performance series in 2021. They bonded over their shared experience of being artists in the field and their desire to capture performing arts work with care, creativity, and accessibility at its heart. Their collaborations have carried through to their work together at Movement Research's Monday night Judson performance series and to the formation of 5' Nothing Productions. Their shared experience as professional dancers and photographer and videographer respectively, allow them to offer high quality media created with an embodied understanding of the work with an emphasis on highlighting each performers' unique artistry.
